William “Jack” McAdams, 75, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 in Harlingen, Texas. Jack was born in Houston, Texas on May 17, 1946 to the late, John and Rose McAdams.
Jack was a Boy Scout leader and also served his country proudly in the United States Army. During his time of service to his country, Jack was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal and well as the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Those left to cherish Jack’s memory include his wife, Julie McAdams; his sons, William Shawn McAdams; his daughter, Stephanie Wolf and her husband Glenn; his stepson, Drew Falkenstien; his brothers, Robert McAdams and Jon; his sisters, Belinda Guidry, Elizabeth and Anna; his grandchildren, Lance Wolf, Luke Wolf and Lauren Knott and her husband, Justin.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rose McAdams; his former wife, Linda McAdams and his brother, Kenneth Nelson.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas on Thursday, July 15, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Glenn Wolf and Rev. Daniel Wolf, officiants. Entombment with full military honors will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas.
