Mr Moses was always so nice. Remember him living at the corner of Grant and Gonzales. I stayed in touch with him , when he visited my husband office.

The world has said goodbye to another kind and loving man. Mr. Loyd will be deeply missed but never forgotten. As Debbie's sister-in -law I has the opportunity to share many special family events with Loyd and Maurine. They took my entire family to their "fish camp", we visited the Memphis Zoo in the middle of a heat-wave, we drove around Sabine Pass (forever) to get to the best of the best seafood restaurant ! His humor helped calm me after my toddler cried during Debbie and Byron's wedding! He was always able to make someone smile and laugh! His kindness and love for his family was legendary. The way he cared for his beloved wife, Maurine, in her final years is a testament to his unyielding kindness and devotion. May his next journey be filled with peace and rest. My sympathies to Debbie, Byron, Whitney and Kelsey - he loved you all so much.

He was such a good man to me and my brothers. The older I've gotten, the more and more I admire him. Such a great example of consistency and compassion.
