William "Mr. Bill" Moss

William “Mr. Bill” Moss Jr., age 70 of Port Neches, passed away Thursday January 7, 2021. Bill was born January 13, 1950 in Nederland to the late William H. Moss Sr. and Lynette Williams Moss Bottoms. He retired from Port Neches ISD in the maintenance department with 26 years of service.
Bill is survived by his wife of 26 years, Susan Moss of Port Neches; his daughter, Lindsay Ray and her husband Josh of Silsbee; his sons, Toby Moss and his wife Libby of Nederland, Neil Wersig and his wife Adrianne of Nederland, and Dean Wersig and his wife Charlene of Port Neches; his sisters, Kathy Bagwell and her husband Fred of Boerne and Paula Powers and husband Johnny of Port Neches. Also his eleven grandchildren, Kinsley Ray, Ayden Ray, Cody Moss, Kasen Moss, Dylan Hendricks, Michael Wersig and his wife Emily, Mark Wersig, Mandy Wersig, Aaron Wersig, Adam Wersig, Abram Wersig; one great grandson, Collier Wersig. Mr. Bill was proceeded in death by his brother, Cary Wayne Moss of Zavalla, TX.
Due to the Coronavirus, the family will be having a private memorial service at a later date. Services are under direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
