William David Papania

William David Papania, 70, of Nederland, Texas died Saturday, April 3, 2010. David was born April 17, 1939 in Laurel, Mississippi to Sam Salvador Papania and Lela Graham Papania. He was a lifelong area resident and a retired Process Operator at Occidental Petroleum. He was preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Papania and sister, Maggie Hall. Survivors include his son, Michael D. Papania of Nederland, Texas; daughter, Lorri McCallum and husband, Andrew of Katy, Texas; sister, Diana Hodges; brother, Lucas Papania and wife, Pat all of Nederland, Texas; five grandchildren, Brian Papania and wife, Stacy, Matthew Papania, Thomas McCallum, James McCallum, and Charles McCallum. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends. David was an avid outdoorsman and was never happier than when he was hunting or fishing. He was a fantastic cook and his food was enjoyed by all. He loved life and lived life to the fullest. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. John Lee and his staff and Dr. Joseph Kong and his staff for their compassion and care during these last few months. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home at 2001 Nall in Port Neches with Bro. Jason Glenn officiating.
