William Lloyd Temple Jr.

William Lloyd Temple Jr, of Port Neches, Texas passed away on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022 at his home. Born in Port Arthur, TX to William L Temple, Sr and Ann Montagne Temple, on August 11, 1938. He was a lifelong area resident. A member of The Boy Scouts and DeMolay Society. A graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, class of 1956. He loved racing cars, built his first car at 15 years old and eventually built his own race car. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1958 and then served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959-1963. A Senior Principle Piping Designer, Bill retired from CB&I Matrix. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Port Arthur and later attended Hillcrest Baptist Church in Nederland. He is preceeded in death by his parents and his son, William Lloyd Temple, III. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kathy Watson Temple of Port Neches, His daughter Helen Harris of Hertford, NC, Bonus children: Lori Hoffman and Bill of Corsicana, TX, Leslie Graham of Ennis, TX, Aaron McRee and Rachel of Lockhart, TX, and Vicki Conley and Matt of Kansas City, MO. His sister Sandy Wilson and Frank of Nederland, TX. His Niece, Kathy Lutz and Richard of Groves, TX, nephew Bobby Jones and Janet of Bryan, TX, Great nephew, Jacob Lutz and Amanda, of Groves, TX., 14 Grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren with 2 more on the way. In lieu of floral arrangements, donations can be made to St. Jude’s in Mr. Temple’s name. A memorial service will be held at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches on Friday Nov 4, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Visitation at 1:00pm. Reverend Jim Johnson will be officiating.
