Willie Eloise Boyd, 99, of Beaumont, Texas passed away December 19, 2013 at Gulf Health Care. She was born in Geneva, Texas on December 16, 1914 to the late Homer Judson and Willie Weathered Strother Smith. She was a retired cafeteria cook.
A graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain David Abshire officiating, under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home.
She is survived by her son, Walter Boyd and wife, Sandy of Nederland; grandchildren, Clint Boyd and wife, Linda of Nome, and Rhonda Boyd of Nederland; and great-grandchildren, Krystal Boyd Covington and husband, Dory and Kolby Boyd, all of Buna.
The family would like to thank Gulf Health Care and New Century Hospice for their excellent care.
