Winfred E. Wright, Sr. 79, of Port Neches, Texas died Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Winfred was born October 31, 1934 in Bronson, Texas to Luther Wright and Julia Parmer Wright. He was a resident of this area for 54 years and a retired Jefferson Chemical Lab Technician. He was a member of First United Methodist Church Port Neches and was also a Mason. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Judge Brad Burnett officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the funeral home. Winfred was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Wright, sister, Virgie Cox, and sonin-law, Riley Burnett. Surviving relatives include his daughters, Belinda Foulk and husband Bill; Betsy Burnett; son, Winfred E. "Rusty" Wright, Jr. and wife Sylvia all of Port Neches, Texas; sisters, Helen Minnis of Rosevine, Texas; Verlyn Baber of Beaumont, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
