Wm. Harvey Campbell, 83, of Groves, Texas passed away Friday, January 19, 2018. Harvey was born April 8, 1934 in Port Arthur, Texas to Levi Garrett Campbell and Emily Nance Campbell. He was a lifelong area resident and retired in 1989 as an operator from Neches Butane. Harvey proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jo Chelette Campbell; and brother, Marshall Campbell. Survivors include his wife, Betty Campbell of Groves; sons, William G. "Snuffy" Campbell and wife Cindy of Port Arthur, and Kenneth R. Campbell of Dallas; step-sons, Jim "Bubba" Perry and wife Teresa of Groves, and Bob Perry and wife Phyllis of Katy; step-daughter, Jo Anna "Sissy" Jones and husband Dick of Groves; sister, Billie Harriett Apgar and husband Larry of Lincoln, NB; twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
