Yola Mae Hebert, 100, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at her home.
She was born May 10, 1921 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Felix Broussard and Carlotta Prejean Broussard.
Yola moved to the area in 1936 and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Lee Hebert; and brother, Robert Broussard.
Survivors include daughters, Patsy Rabe of Port Arthur, Linda Leteff and husband Duke of Port Arthur, son, Gerald Hebert and wife Cindy of Bridge City, sisters, Barbara Ann Dawson of Nevada, Helen Smith and husband Jerry of Oahu, Hawaii, brother, Nelson Broussard and wife JoAnn of Lufkin, grandchildren, Michael Lynd and wife Renatta, Jennifer Thiebaud and husband Ronson, Paul Hebert, Quincy Hebert, James Lambert and wife Melissa, Scott Lambert, Keith Sirmons and wife Estella, Richard Leteff, and 15 great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with a rosary service to begin at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 23, 2021, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Reverend John Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
