I am saddened to see this and then to find out Yolanda had passed also. We lived across the street from Joe and Yolanda when we lived in Port Arthur. Both were wonderful neighbors and good friends. Please know that you are in our prayers. Rusty Cuniff

Yaya, My heart is so broken and have no words to describe on how I feel. I know you and Joe are together again and having a good time with the rest of the family. I'm sure mom and dad was there to greet you and I can just imagine the big hugs and laughs. We've had so many great times together and I will cherish them forever. I pray for Renee and Teresa and her family and God gives them the strength to continue through this journey. Love y'all.

I will miss them dearly! Such sweet and loving people. I'll never forget that during the ice storm in 1997, our neighborhood was devastated. Joe and Yolanda grilled food on the pit and went neighbor to neighbor passing out food. I'll never forget introducing Yolanda to Dr. Patterson. Dr. Patterson complimented her every time she saw me. They'll be forever in my heart.
