Yvette Renee Compere' Anniboli, a beloved member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, has passed at the age of 98 in Nederland Texas. She was born on June 21, 1926, in Namur, Belgium, and departed from this world on July 10, 2024.
Yvette's life was one filled with love, and creativity. She shared 57 years with her late husband Louis Anniboli, Sr., who she met and married in Belgium while he was serving in WW II. When he finished his tour, he returned to Port Arthur. She and their firstborn son traveled with other WW II war brides by ship to Texas to begin their new life.
She will always be remembered for her beautiful St. Joseph's altars she held in her home. She was also known for her talents and passions, Yvette was an avid seamstress who lent her skills to many businesses in Southeast Texas. She found joy in knitting, crocheting, crafting, floral arranging, reading, and cooking. Her love for watching cooking shows illuminated her vibrant spirit and curiosity for culinary arts. Yvette enjoyed casino card games - her superstition was "Always go in the back door, never the front."
Among her proudest accomplishments was being Maw Maw to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family held a special place in Yvette's heart, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.
