Yvonne Stelly Kennedy, 77, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away on August 26, 2023, in Port Arthur, Texas.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Officiating will be Reverend J.C. Coon. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
Born in Arnaudville, Louisiana, on September 9, 1945, she was the daughter of Joseph Dudley Stelly and Agnes Marks Stelly. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception/St. Peters Catholic Church, as well as a member of the ACTS Community and the Alter Society. Yvonne also enjoyed curling up with a good book, cooking delicious meals for her family, sewing, and shopping.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Boyd Kennedy Sr.; her brothers Alfred Stelly and Larry Stelly; her son in law Jason Fabacher; and her step granddaughter Erica Smith.
She is survived by her children Yvette Werner of Bridge City, Texas, Michelle Burnaman and husband, Guy of Orange, Texas, Andrea Fabacher of Bridge City, Texas; her step children Lori Smith of Houston, Texas, Boyd Kennedy Jr and wife Sally of Moss Bluff, Louisiana, and Joel Kennedy and wife Toni of Missouri City, Texas; her granddaughter Mallory Blanton and husband Joshua of Beaumont, Texas; step grandchildren Michael, Meghann, Marcus, Haley, and Kade; her great grandchild Charleigh Blanton; her brothers Roland Stelly of Arnaudville, Louisiana, Lloyd Stelly and wife Phyllis of Youngsville, Louisiana, John Stelly and wife Rose of Arnaudville, Louisiana, and Gail Castille and husband Charles of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for contributions to be made to Gentiva Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.
