Zaria M. Kennedy Zaria M. Kennedy, 16, of Nederland passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born on June 27, 2001 in Galveston, Texas to Christopher Green and Shalisha Kennedy. Zaria was a junior at Nederland High School where she was an honor student and was currently taking college courses. She was employed with S&M Factory Outlet in Port Arthur. A memorial service will be Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home, 5601 39th Street, Groves, TX. The family requests no flowers at the memorial services. Instead the family would like everyone to wear purple or teal. The memorial will end with the release of a paper lantern. The Homecoming Celebration will be held at Rising Star Baptist Church, 624 Mill Street, Oakdale, LA, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Floral expressions of sympathy will be received at this service. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Norris "PaPa" Green.
