Zoe Marie Hinton

Zoe M. Hinton, age 84, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Senior Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing in Port Arthur. She was born on March 13, 1931 in Port Neches to the late Basil Goodwin and Laura Aycock.
Zoe is survived by her sons, Bill Hinton and his wife, Lois of Groves and Sherrel “Rusty” Hinton of Beaumont; sisters, Bobby Stefflen of Lake Charles and Basil D. Mooneyham of Warren; granddaughters, Khristi Voyles and her husband, Ronnie of Houston, Kathren Bridges of Beaumont and Tami Freasier of Groves; grandsons, Jonathon Bridges of Bridge City, Keven Ford of Australia and Darryc Freasier of Groves; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie B. Hinton; and her daughter, Carol Ogden.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
