Jackie Ione Burnett

Jackie Burnett, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on July 17, 1933, Jackie lived a life full of warmth, joy, and an unwavering commitment to her loved ones. She was known for her vibrant spirit, her love of travel, and her impeccable sense of style, always "dressed to the nines."

Jackie found immense joy in her family, cherishing every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing comfort and guidance throughout her years. She created a home filled with love and laughter, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and devotion that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving sons, Brad Burnett and his wife Teresa of Port Neches, and Matt Burnett and his wife Lindy of Port Neches; and her devoted daughters, Tracey Murray and her husband Aaron of Waverly, Ohio, and Kim Tackett and her husband Tony of Waverly, Ohio. Jackie's memory will also be cherished by her numerous grandchildren: Jake Burnett and his wife Rachel, Bradie Milligan and her husband Randy, Cori Lira and her husband Josh, Clint Burnett and his wife Hope Bidinger, Cami Tuttle and her husband Charlie Will, Britney Williamson and her husband Ben, Meagan Burnett, Bryce Burnett and his wife Shannon, Blake Murray and his wife Addie, and Calley Reed and her husband Kitt. She also leaves behind twenty-three great-grandchildren: Jaden, Tessa, Jace, Madi, Preslie, Molli, Logan, Jodi, Parker, Wyatt, Layla, Joely, Riley, Beau, Bryley, Piper, Zephyr, Crimson, Lydia, Charlie, Tatim, Ruxin, and Tilly.

Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 33 years, Jimmy Burnett; her son, Riley Burnett; her daughter-in-law, Betsy Burnett; and her brothers, H. C. Hebert, Jr., Lloyd Hebert, Curtis Hebert, and Patty Kasper. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever remember her grace, her love, and her beautiful spirit.
